Guests can choose between the wainscoted dining room, which boasts a mural depicting the four seasons of Dutchess county, and which offers views to the garden; the intimate bar area, with its crackling fire and warm ambiance; or, weather permitting, the garden with an outdoor wood-burning grill where the chef/owner Mikael Möller, grills dinner.
The menu at Charlotte’s changes seasonally, to make use the freshest local ingredients. In fall the menu may feature our Fisherman's Stew with morsels of fish, shrimp, mussels and more or our Vegan Roasted Acorn Squash Stuffed with Rutabaga, Fennel, White Onion and Herbs served over a nest of Quinoa with Lemon Zest, Pine Nuts and Maple Balsamic Glaze.
Alicia Möller came to Millbrook 18 years ago with her husband Chef Mikael (7/5/58-1/26/23). Before moving to Millbrook, they a flourishing New York City catering business preparing parties for business and fashionable social affairs. Eighteen years ago, they decided to bring their acclaimed business to Millbrook, and purchased what had been Allyn’s restaurant.
