Take the Taconic Parkway North to the Poughkeepsie/Millbrook/Rt 44 Exit. (This exit is approximately 20 miles north of I-84). Bear right off the exit and proceed 1.8 miles east to the junction of Route 44. Turn left. Follow 44 to the 7 miles and Charlottes's Restaurant is on the right. Take the NYS Thruway North to Exit 17 - Newburgh Follow the signs to I-84 East towards the Beacon Newburgh Bridge Cross the Bridge and look for the Taconic State Parkway North (Exit 16N off I-84 ) Take the Taconic North to the Route 44 - Poughkeepsie Millbrook Exit You'll be on the Taconic for roughly 1/2 hour to get to Northern Dutchess County Take a right off the exit ramp onto Route 44. Follow directions from above.
